Promoting Creativity
WiseTip: AL-CRE-M1626-G01C

Involve your toddler in the story-telling by taking turns making up a continuing story with them. You can also try making up stories with your toddler as the main character, or proposing moral dilemmas.

WHY IT MATTERS

Storytelling nurtures children’s imagination and creative potential.

Reading stories aloud empowers children with better vocabularies, sentence structure and communication skills, enabling them to share their imaginative and creative ideas better.

Talking about stories and making up stories with children in a playful manner helps expand their social and emotional abilities as they learn vocabulary, and it sparks their imagination and creative thinking abilities.
