At this stage, most toddlers are attaining the developmental milestone of walking up and down the stairs.
During the walking transition, babies’ interactions with caregivers became more passive, particularly when sitting and standing, but they are also engaged in greater gross motor activity while continuing to use squatting/kneeling postures for fine motor manipulations.
