Play gross motor games that require coordination of words, movements and actions, such as “Hide & Seek” or “Ring around the Rosy”.
At this stage, children tend to climb on chairs or stools to reach for toys and other objects beyond their reach. They will stand on one foot or can kick a ball with one foot while standing.
Expose children to various types of outdoor playgrounds (e.g. traditional playgrounds, adventure playgrounds and nature playgrounds) for building resilience from young.
Outdoor play is important for providing children the capacity to perceive themselves as competent learners and engage in risk-taking.
